Friday, June 12th, I had the privilege of going to a baseball game at Camden Yards.  The Atlanta Braves were in town, and it was a perfect night for baseball.  The game was not that exciting, Atlanta won 7-2, but I had a great time at the stadium.  Camden Yards is not the newest ballpark, but it was still in great shape.  The atmosphere at the game was great.  I enjoyed the game from the upper deck behind home plate.  From my seats, I had a great view of the warehouse and of some of Baltimore’s skyline. Another plus was the food.  I had a terrific hot dog. It was called a grille dog and was served almost everywhere.  Usually you feel cheated for buying a 4 dollar hot dog, but this one was different.  It much bigger than the normal ballpark dog and was very tasty. Camden Yards is definitely a ballpark I would love to visit again.  If you have not been there before, then I encourage you to go.

Also, I saw Tommy Hanson’s first Major League victory.  Only time will tell, but I could be looking back on a special career and remembering his first win.
